Welcome to Mission HOPE South Sudan!
Mary's Project has partnered with Atem Garang Juowei, a Lost Boy of South Sudan, for Mission HOPE South Sudan - Library Education Center Building Project and Village Outreach. The Library Education Center will be constructed in the village of Atem's birth and Lost Boys of Sudan; Paliau Village, Ajuong Community, Jonglei State, South Sudan.

Unite with us in this important outreach and development initiative, as we bring hope to the Lost Boys and to their families back in their native motherland. On our next upcoming trip, January - May 2013, our goal is to drill the water well, purchase the loader truck, bring medical supplies, and lay the foundation for the library education center. LIBRARY BUILDING PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND HISTORY - PROJECT VIDEO
Ajoung Library Edcuation Center will serve all 5 Primary Schools in the Ajoung Community, Twic EastCounty, Jonglei State. As a full functioning Library for both school children and adults, the building will also serve as an Educational Center equipped with a computer room, educational DVD's, a wall projector, an arts and crafts room, school supply resource center, with several bathroom facilities for future development. Currently, the teachers and students have no educational materials, school supplies or books. Lessons are taught on the blackboard using chalk. Adult Ed classes and computer literacy will take place. Material donations including books, school supplies, computers, laptops, kindles, as well as monetary support are now being accepted for drop-off for the Library Education Center Building Project and Village Outreach.
